How do you respond to being alone?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 14, 2008:
I enjoy being alone because it is at that time that I feel closer to God.

Being alone is an opportunity to see, listen, and feel. These are times to feel the Loving Essence within and the Essence of others. We are connected even when we are alone.
Ah, yes, alone and closer to God!
Such a beautiful space that is always there for us.
Your answer reminds me of one of my favorite Bible verses. It's about God not being in the storm, or the wind, or the earthquake – He was in the silence that followed. I find God in quiet solitude also.
Being Alone Can Be a Good Thing in The Sense That You Have Time to Reflect on Your Life and Create New Ideas and Goals. On the Other Hand, Being Alone Can Be a Bad Thing if You Become an Introvert. I Cherish Every Moment of Life Because Who Knows When There Will Be No More Time.
Being alone give us the opportunity to be reminded of how connected we are with the world. It enables us to be more aware of we ourselves and the space we breathe.
I didn't respond to being alone. But if I did I would have said the same thing you said!
