What pattern has characterized your life recently?

Posted on Jun 28th, 2008 by John D : Dominant Muse John D
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 28, 2008:

The constant inhaling and exhaling, the on-going falling to sleep and rising again, and the inspiration that fills me in spurts are patterns that characterize my life recently because without them, I have no life.

Great question John. Circle of Life patterns here.
Along with what you have mentioned, loss has made it's way through my life again and again recently.  Loss and letting go bring release, sometimes pain and space for unimaginable beginnings that feel like the comfort of home.  Embracing each moment with an open Heart and curiousity as each moment brings a chance for miracles.
Miracles and synchronicities are everywhere in the patterns as sure as breathing, sleeping and awakening.

We all are having the same pattern, so thank you for same but I was nearly shocked looking at the words ' inhaling and exhaling ' thinking cigarette smoke, then I realised  that you meant normal breathing. How many breaths we have a day. Recently I saw the number some where but now I forgot it.

I like the question, John, and I do like everyones' answers. The pattern that characterized my life is the one that I cannot live without. It is my prayers. I usually say a small prayer every hour because it helps me keep track of my time and, most importantly, it makes my spirit feel strong and I do believe it gets stronger. I one time thought about letting go of this pattern because I thought it was taking some of my time but when I did let go, I felt so weak and sad like my spirit was just crying out for prayer. I realized that prayers were like food for my soul. It brought me so much happiness and sitll does because it brings me closer to God, my true happiness.

The most elementary with our life-pattern  is breathing !  How essetial ofcourse,  and we believe it is easy !!  But I have this summer participated in some therapy (speech-therapist)  trying to learn  to breathe properly.  I have just been breathing with my upper chest,  and it is said that 98 % of us breathe in this way.  We must learn to breathe deeper,  with our stomachs -  a proper deep breath that spread oxygen throughout our body.  And when one focus on it,  it surely isn´t easy.  But I strongly believe that when we manage to release our tension and BREATHE  ,  our bodies will rejoice on an even higher level.  and then we can step into our lives,  filling our time more fully and with more precense …

Hi everyone,

Ane, yoga will encourage a healthier breathing pattern for you. By the excess intake of oxygen you will lose some appetite but feel great. The transformation is incredible.

Thank you for the question John. I am paying attention to the strange energy of people (including myself) lately. There is an un-easiness, an undercurrent of anxiety among folks of all walks of life. I discussed this briefy with another gaian and they are in agreement. We are thousands of miles away from each other - and she feels it too.
