Being in the zone, in the flow, fully mused stops me from listening, momentarily, until I recompose myself and return to listening.

Help

Snap, obviously you have good concentration, a poet has to heed the muse, grins, this reminds me how often things are like a coin not negative or positive but different faces of the one thing.
John D … had to take a moment to sprinkle some seeds in your direction. Loved the way you stated this, and especially loved “until I recompose myself and return to listening”. Intention, action, and a natural flow of energy. Great post!
A few things tend to stop me from listening. I know for a fact that each time I have to pay attention to my kids, events and activities, it's hard for me to listen and interact with others because then I'm so focused on their activities that it makes listening difficult or even concentrating on a single thought.
